Switching Platforms: What You Need to Know About Your MemberPlus Subscription
If you're moving from iOS to Android, or from Android to iOS, your Insight Timer account stays with you. Your subscription, however, doesn't automatically transfer between app stores.
Here's why: subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store can't be transferred to Google Play, and vice versa. You'll need to set up your subscription again on your new platform. The good news is that your profile, meditation history, streaks, and bookmarks are all safe—they're linked to your account and will be there when you log in.
Steps to Transfer Your Subscription
Follow this process to get MemberPlus set up on your new device:
- Cancel your current subscription through your original purchase platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
- You'll continue to enjoy MemberPlus benefits until the end of your current billing period.
- Once your subscription expires, subscribe again on your new device using your preferred platform.
- Log in with the same account details you've always used to keep your profile, stats, and bookmarks.

- Profile, meditation history, streaks, and bookmarks are all linked to your account and safe to access from any device.
- Downloaded tracks are stored locally on each device. You'll need to re-download any offline content on your new device if you want to use it without an internet connection.
