Sharing your accreditations and certifications helps demonstrate your expertise and supports the credibility of the content you teach on Insight Timer.
How to add your credentials
To submit your qualifications, visit the Teacher Dashboard and navigate to Publisher Profile > scroll down to Accreditations. You can share any relevant qualifications, accreditations, certificates, or diplomas related to your teaching.
Why accreditations matter
Providing relevant accreditations and qualifications does several important things:
- Makes your profile and content review process smoother
- Helps with identity verification on our platform
- Contributes to the safety and credibility of our platform
When accreditations are required
Proof of accreditation is mandatory when you teach using specialized and trademarked practices or terms, including but not limited to:
- Neuroscience, Psychology, Trauma and Abuse, Death, Addiction
- MBSR, ACT, Reiki, Wim Hof Method, Transcendental Meditation
- EFT Tapping, ACIM, Max Meditation System, Goenka
- Deepak Chopra Method, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Alan Watts, Ram Dass
- SOMA meditation, Carl Jung, José Silva (Silva Method), OSHO
- Similar specialized disciplines or trademarked methodologies
If you teach any of these approaches, make sure to include proof of your training and certification.
