How To Promote Your Track

Here are some tips to promote your track:

Share the news!

Use the shareable link to invite your students, family, and friends to check out your new track. The platform provides links to your content, making it easier to spread the word on social media and other platforms. Here are the ways to do it:

FROM THE INSIGHT TIMER APP

  • Find the track that you would like to share
  • Tap on the top right corner of the page and click the 'Share' icon
  • Select the channel where you would like to share it with. You can also tap the three dots (...) to see more options
  • Alternatively, you can tap the Instagram icon to share the track directly to your IG stories

FROM YOUR TEACHER DASHBOARD

  • Log in to your Teacher Dashboard
  • Click on the 'Promotion' tab on the left part of the menu
  • Click on the arrow next to the track you would like to share
  • Select the channel you would like to share it

FROM THE WEB

  • Visit your web profile: www.insighttimer.com/username
  • Click on the track you would like to share
  • Click the 'Share' icon
  • Select the channel where you would like to share it

HOST LIVE EVENTS

Put a face to the voice behind your content by hosting Live Events on the Insight Timer Community. Live Events are also a great way to build an engaged audience, an opportunity for you to turn event attendees into listeners.

BUILD A TIGHT-KNIT COMMUNITY

Create an exclusive Group for your audience and share your tracks there. With the Group function, people who follow you can get together and find like-minded individuals. Plus, you'll get to reach them easily and directly, making it the perfect place to share your Insight Timer tracks.

REINFORCE YOUR EXPERTISE

Review Your Bio

Please make sure you have included in your teacher bio your expertise and relevant qualifications on the topics you have shared content on.

Users love to learn more about our teachers and this will help them make an informed decision on whether to listen to your content or not.

Please remember that your bio is written in the third person, and kept within 200-1500 characters. Do not use emojis, write in all caps, and include web links. There is a dedicated section for website links on the Teacher Profile:

  • Log in to your Teacher Dashboard
  • Click on the 'Publisher Profile' tab on the menu found on the left pane
  • Scroll down to 'Social Information' and update your bio and website link
