If you need to request a refund for your Insight Timer subscription, the process varies depending on where you purchased it. Refund requests are handled directly by the platform where your subscription was purchased—Google Play, Apple, or Insight Timer—each of which has its own policies and procedures for managing refunds.
Purchases on Google Play (Android)
If you subscribed to MemberPlus through the Google Play Store on an Android device, Google manages all refunds and refund requests for your purchase.
Refunds within 2 hours of purchase: You may be eligible for an automatic refund if you request it within 2 hours of making your purchase. To submit this request, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon located in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Payments & Subscriptions from the menu.
- Tap Budget & History to view your purchase history.
- Find your Insight Timer purchase and select Request a Refund if the option is available.
Refunds between 2 and 48 hours of purchase: If you've missed the automatic refund window but are still within 48 hours of your purchase, you can submit a refund request through Google Play's online refund request form. All refund decisions are made according to Google Play's established refund policies.
Purchases on Apple (iOS)
If you subscribed to MemberPlus through the Apple App Store on an iPhone or iPad, Apple manages all refunds for your purchase through their dedicated reporting system.
- Visit Apple's support portal at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in using your Apple ID and password.
- Locate the Insight Timer subscription purchase from your order history.
- Select Request a Refund and provide your reason for the refund request.
Apple will review your refund request and make a decision based on their refund policy. You'll receive an email notification about the status of your request.
Purchases on the Insight Timer website
If you purchased your MemberPlus subscription directly through the Insight Timer website (not through an app store), you'll need to contact our Customer Support Team to request a refund. Please have the following information ready when you reach out:
- The email address you used when making your purchase
- A copy of your receipt confirming your payment
