Delete a Group on Insight Timer
Only Group Administrators can delete a group. If you're an admin and want to remove your group, the process is straightforward—just follow these steps.
How to Delete Your Group
- Open the Insight Timer app.
- Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top-left corner.
- Tap Groups.
- Open the group you want to delete.
- Tap the group name or logo at the top to access Group Settings.
- Tap the three dots (⋯).
- Select Delete Group.
- Tap Yes to confirm the deletion.
Important Restrictions
Keep these guidelines in mind when deleting a group:
Only Group Administrators can delete a group.
A public group with 50 or more members cannot be deleted unless you first assign another community member as an Administrator.
This policy helps protect our community groups from being accidentally removed and ensures that active groups have proper leadership in place.
