How to cancel your free trial before it ends on iOS
When you start the 7-day free trial on Insight Timer, it begins with the annual MemberPlus plan. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the annual subscription automatically renews and you'll be charged. You can cancel or change your plan anytime through iPhone settings.
To cancel before the trial ends
Follow these steps to cancel before you're charged for the full year.
- Open your iPhone Settings app.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top (where you see your name and profile picture).
- Select Subscriptions from the menu.
- Tap Insight Timer from your active subscriptions.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
- Confirm your cancellation when prompted.
Your free trial stays active until the end of the 7-day period and you won't be charged if you cancel before it expires. You'll still have full MemberPlus access for the rest of your trial.
To switch plans after the trial
If you prefer a monthly plan instead of annual, switch after cancelling.
- Wait for the free trial to end after cancelling the annual plan.
- Go back to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Select Insight Timer from your subscriptions.
- Choose the monthly plan option.
- Confirm your selection to switch to monthly.
Monthly is $9.99 USD/month instead of $59.99 USD/year for annual. Cancel anytime using the same Settings process.
Important reminders
Timing matters. If you cancel after your 7-day trial ends, you're charged for the full year. Cancel during the trial if you don't want charges. You can resubscribe later—just go back to Settings > Insight Timer and start a new subscription anytime.
