How Can I Ensure I Receive Daily Reminder Notifications on Insight Timer?

If you’re not receiving your Daily Reminder on Insight Timer, please check both your in-app reminder settings and your device notification settings.


Step 1: Check Reminder Settings in the App


  1. Open the Insight Timer app.

  2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner.

  3. Tap Settings.

  4. Select Encouragement & Notifications.

  5. Tap Daily Reminders.

  6. Make sure your reminder is toggled on and the correct time is selected.

  7. If needed, turn off Smart Scheduling to manually choose a specific reminder time.


Step 2: Enable Notifications on Your Device


For iPhone or iPad (iOS 17+):


  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Notifications.

  3. Select Insight Timer.

  4. Turn on Allow Notifications.

  5. Ensure Lock ScreenNotification Center, and Banners are selected.


For Android (Android 13+):


  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Notifications.

  3. Tap App notifications.

  4. Select Insight Timer.

  5. Make sure all notification categories are turned on.


Important: The Daily Reminder will not be sent if the Insight Timer app is open at the scheduled reminder time.
