Login issues are usually caused by entering an incorrect email address or password. It's also possible that you originally signed up using Apple ID or Google account, which means you won't need a password unless you created one later.
Follow these steps below to regain access to your account.
Troubleshooting via the app
Via the app:
- Open the Insight Timer app.
- Tap I already have an account on the welcome screen.
- Enter your email address associated with your account.
- Tap Continue.
- If you see the message "Your password or email is incorrect." try a different email—you may have registered with a different email address.
If you remember your password, enter it. If not, tap Forgot your password?
You'll receive a password reset link via email. Follow the instructions to create a new password.
Troubleshooting on the website
Via the website:
- Go to the Insight Timer login page on your computer or mobile browser.
- Enter your registered email address.
- Click Continue.
- If you don't remember your password, click Forgot your password?
- Check your email for a password reset link and follow those instructions.
- Once you've reset your password, try logging in again with your new password.
If you signed up with Apple ID or Google
If you originally created your account using Apple ID or Google sign-in, you don't need a password—just tap "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google" on the login screen. If you want to set a password later, you can do that in your account settings to enable traditional email/password login.
