Teachers retain the rights to the content they upload to the Insight Timer platform.
Before you upload anything onto the platform, please be sure you have all the necessary rights.
Copyright infringement is illegal and not permitted under any circumstances. Repeated infringers will be removed and banned from the platform. Please keep in mind that publishers may be still liable and prosecuted.
Please make sure you own the copyright of the content, images, and music shared in your courses and tracks, or it is royalty-free and in the public domain. Works already in the public domain may be accepted (e.g. readings, lectures, stories), provided original creators are properly credited.
If you are uploading on someone else’s behalf or using a trademarked term/practice, written permission may be requested. Any material that is found to breach copyright will be removed immediately.
Royalty-free music tracks will not be allowed on the app unless it is used as a piece of background music for a guided meditation.
As a general rule, if you have not created the content yourself and you are not sure whether is copyrighted or not, please do not upload it.
Furthermore, proper credentials may be required if you are using a specialized practice like Neuroscience, Psychology, MBSR, ACT, the Wim Hof Method, and the like.
