How to Join a Group
Finding and joining a group is simple:
- Open the group you'd like to join.
- Tap Join Group.
Note: If the group is private or closed, your request will need to be approved by the group admin before you can join. Public groups let you in right away.
How to Leave a Group
When it's time to move on, leaving is just as straightforward:
- Open the group you want to leave.
- Tap Settings in the top-right corner.
- Tap the three dots (⋯).
- Select Leave Group.
Important: If You're the Only Admin
If you're the sole administrator of your group, you'll need to assign another community member as an admin before you can leave. Alternatively, you can choose to delete the group entirely.
What Happens When You Leave
Once you leave a group, you won't receive notifications from it, and you won't have access to its content unless you rejoin later. It's an easy decision to undo if you change your mind.
