Who Owns the Copyright to the Content Published on Insight Timer?

Teachers maintain the rights to the content they upload on the Insight Timer platform.

Before uploading any material, it's essential to ensure that you possess all the necessary rights. Copyright infringement is both illegal and strictly prohibited. Repeated infringers will be removed and banned from the platform. Please keep in mind that publishers may still be held liable and prosecuted.

Make certain that you own the copyright to the content, images, and music shared in your courses and tracks, or that it is royalty-free and in the public domain. Works already in the public domain may be accepted, such as readings, lectures, and stories, provided the original creators are properly credited.

If you are uploading content on behalf of someone else or using a trademarked term/practice, such as, but not limited to, the Wim Hof Method, Transcendental Meditation, ACIM, Max Meditation System, Goenka, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Alan Watts, SOMA meditation, Carl Jung, José Silva (Silva Method), or OSHO, please upload relevant written permission and/or proper credentials when uploading your content. Any material found to breach copyright will be promptly removed.

Royalty-free music tracks are allowed on the app only when used as background music for guided meditations or course.

As a general rule, if you have not created the content yourself and are uncertain about its copyright status, please refrain from uploading it.

If you have any doubts or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us at publishers@insight.co. We are here to assist and provide guidance.
