Live events are a great way to earn more revenue, increase visibility, grow your audience, and boost engagement. Before a teacher can hold a Live event, the following requirements must be met:
- Please complete and submit a Live events application form. You will find it on the Live events tab in the teacher dashboard.
- Because the cover image of the Live event will be pulled from the Teacher Profile Photo, the teacher must make sure that his or her photo complies with our teacher profile requirements.
- Except for Live Yoga Teachers, a teacher needs to have at least 2 tracks published (free library), with an average rating of 4.5 or higher. This way, your viewers can get to know you better and will have something to explore and listen to when they go to your teacher profile.
Please make sure to comply with these requirements before creating a Live Event Proposal to ensure an easeful process.
APPLYING FOR LIVE EVENTS
STEP 1: Log in to the Teacher Dashboard
Please make sure you are using Google Chrome. We currently do not support other browsers (Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc). Log in to the teacher dashboard here.
STEP 2: Click on the Live Events tab
For applicants, you will see this screen:
Choose whether you'd like to apply for Spoken Word content (guided meditations, music sessions, talks), or for yoga classes.
You can use this direct link to send an application for Live Meditations. You can use this direct link to send an application for Live Yoga. The links will take you to a Google form that you need to fill up. You may also need to sign in with your Google account to access this form. Once you've submitted this form, our Onboarding Team will get in touch to walk you through the next steps.
CREATING A LIVE EVENT PROPOSAL
Once your application has been accepted, you will now be able to create and schedule live events. These are still subject to approval so please make sure that you've gone over our Rules & Guidelines for Live Events before following these steps.
STEP 1: Log in to the Teacher Dashboard

STEP 2: Click on the Live Events tab
If you do not see this tab, please contact us immediately at publishers@insight.co.
STEP 3: Click on the Create your event button
This will direct you to a separate page/form for you to fill out. Input the necessary details.
For Live Yoga, you will need to submit a separate application. It will only show on your dashboard once your Live Yoga access has been enabled. If you’re interested but haven’t sent an application yet, please go here.
On the next page, input the date, time, and duration of your live event. Schedule your event at least 48 hours (72 hours for non-English languages) in advance. This helps maximize audience participation. The form will not allow you to schedule an event that's happening in less than 48 hours.
On page 3, you can choose the origin, practice, and benefits of your live event. Click on See more to show the 2nd part of the benefits list.
STEP 4: Read the terms, then tick the checkbox before clicking on the Agree button.
On the confirmation pop-up, you can use the share icon to share your live event to your social media accounts or email. You may now click the close button.
Your live event will now show under your Upcoming live events section.
