Winding down Insight Timer For Work: FAQs and Next Steps

When is Insight Timer For Work shutting down and what do I need to do to prepare?

We will be sunsetting the Business, Professional, and Enterprise plans on June 28, 2024.

Customers on our Business, Professional, and Enterprise plans:

  • You will receive a refund, prorated from April 1, 2024.
  • The Admin Dashboard will be available until June 28, 2024.
  • We will be extending access to MemberPlus for everyone in your Workplace until May 31, 2025 (12 months starting June 1, 2024). Employees with a verified work email will able to redeem this offer as long as they join your Workplace by May 31, 2024.

How can employees redeem the 12 month MemberPlus offer?

Customers on our Business, Professional, and Enterprise plans:

For employees that have already joined your Workplace on the app, no further action is required. They will have uninterrupted access to all our premium features until May 31, 2025.

For employees that have not joined your Workplace, they have until May 31, 2024 to join your Workplace in the Insight Timer app. You can invite colleagues via email or share link from the Admin Dashboard:

  1. Sign in to the Admin Dashboard (https://workplace.insighttimer.com/)
  2. Click “Invite members” from the left navigation bar.
  3. Enter email addresses to send an invite email to, or copy the link to share in communication channels.

Employees that download the app via email or share link will be prompted to enter and verify their work email address. Once this is complete, they will have access to MemberPlus.

Feel free to share these resources with employees. It has detailed instructions on how to join your Workplace and redeem MemberPlus.

Please note we will be unable to grant MemberPlus to employees who join your Workplace after May 31, 2024.

When will I receive a refund?

The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:

  • If you paid by credit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank. All credit card refunds will be processed by May 31, 2024. Please allow 5-10 business days for funds to appear in your account.
  • If you made payment via ACH transfer or cheque, please send a Banking Verification Document (bank letter or voided check to confirm banking details) to enterprise-refunds@insight.co. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving all required information.

In both cases, we will send you a confirmation email as soon as the refund has been processed.

Will I be able to request an extension?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer any extensions.

Will Workplace Challenges still be available?

Workplace Challenges in their current form will not be available after June 28, 2024. If you are planning on running a Workplace Challenge, please ensure the end date does not go beyond this date, as participants will not be able to access the Challenge after June 28, 2024.

What will happen to the workplace content in the app?

The Workplace page will still be available on the app. Curated workplace content in ‘For Your Day’, as well as Skills, and the new Mindful Breaks feature, will still be available, for free.

However, the following premium Workplace features will no longer be available as of June 28, 2024:

  • Workplace Challenges
  • Workplace Recommendations
  • Workplace Groups and Group Meditations

And we will no longer be offering the Business, Professional, and Enterprise plans which allowed companies to unlock MemberPlus for everyone in their Workplace.
