How do I create a Workplace Circle?

In order to create a Workplace Circle, you need to verify your work email first, see instructions here.

You can create Workplace Circles on the app and desktop.

How to create a Workplace Circle on the app

1. Set up a Workplace Circle

Create a Workplace Circle by clicking the + button in the top right of the Circle tab. Then select your workplace domain and fill out the details for your Circle. If you create a Circle, you’re automatically the Circle admin.

2. Fill out the details for your Workplace Circle

Once you’ve decided whether to keep your Circle ‘Open’ or ‘Closed’, it’s time to add a short description about the Circle, choose a cover image and write a friendly welcome message for your coworkers.

Note: 'Open' means anyone in your Workplace can join the Circle. 'Closed' means that anyone who wants to join the Circle must request access and then be granted access by the admin of the Circle.

Quick Tip: Your welcome message explains what your group is going to do and when you plan to meditate together. This is also where you can establish any Circle ground rules.

3. Invite your coworkers to join the Workplace Circle

Select the sideways arrow in the right corner of the screen. You can ask your coworkers on Insight Timer to join the Circle by tapping the Invite button, or you can share the Circle link with coworkers who are not yet part of the Workplace on Insight Timer.

How to create a Workplace Circle on Desktop

1. Log in on Desktop

Head to web.insighttimer.com/circles and make sure you are logged in with your Insight Timer account.

2. Set up a Workplace Circle

Click the + button in the left sidebar. Then select your workplace domain. When you create a Circle, you're automatically the Circle admin.

3. Fill out the details for your Workplace Circle

Name your Circle, decide whether to keep it 'Open' or 'Closed, and add a short description of what the Circle is about. Choose a cover image and write a friendly message to welcome your coworkers.

Note: 'Open' means anyone in your Workplace can join the Circle. 'Closed' means that anyone who wants to join the Circle must request access and then be granted access by the Circle admin.

Quick Tip: Your welcome message explains what your group is going to do and when you plan to meditate together. This is also where you can establish any Circle ground rules.

4. Invite your coworkers to join the Workplace Circle

Click the info icon in the right corner of the screen and select "Share this Circle". You can ask your coworkers on Insight Timer to join the Circle by tapping the Invite button, or you can share the Circle link with coworkers who are not yet part of the Workplace on Insight Timer.
